Pleasantly surprised
I have a collection of Ridge wallets but I was skeptical about the leather version. I just didn't see how that was going to work. After reading some reviews I became intrigued and decided to pull the trigger. I couldn't be more happy with it. It is perfectly in line with the quality of all the other Ridge wallets I have and the leather just gives it a completely different feel. I do not use the cash strap on any of my wallets but that was the only option with the leather and that too has been a better than expected. While I still won't use the cash strap on my carbon and metal wallets it works perfectly with the leather. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the unfinished leather wallet as well to see how that patinas over time. I don't think you would be disappointed. It really is the best of both worlds. You get the quality of The Ridge wallet and the old school feel of a leather wallet.
